The Tripp Lite HDMI Over CAT-5/6 Active Extender Kit includes a transmitter unit and a receiver unit that work in tandem to extend an HDMI audio and video signal to a projector, monitor or TV. This kit is ideal for digital signs, trade shows, classrooms, churches, offices, retail settings and other applications where the source is located farther than conventional cables allow. An HDMI cable connects an optional local display and the audio and video sources to the transmitter's HDMI ports and a remote display to the receiver. A patch cable connects the two units. Built-in Power over Cable technology powers the receiver over a patch cable so no external power supply on the display side is needed. It can extend an HD 1080p signal up to 125 feet. In addition to crystal clear video, it delivers full, rich stereo and 7.1-channel Surround Sound. Built-in equalization control lets you fine-tune the image quality at the remote display.
