International HML434 D.o.t. Explosives 1.3c Label For Hazardous Materi

This D.O.T. EXPLOSIVES 1.3C (With a predominate fire hazard) label clearly identifies potential hazards like fireworks in a familiar design. This 4 inch X 4 inch, Department of Transportaion shipping label conveys hazard information for containers or shipments of hazardous materials. The bright orange with black text on top cleary states "EXPLOSIVE 1.3C 1". Flexible llabel stock with permanent adhesive. The black text and the graphic of the explosion are both printed with UV-stable ink and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use at service temperatures from -40 F to +180 F.
Information on this graphic changes depending on which, "Division" of explosive is shipped. Explosive Dangerous Goods have compatibility group letters assigned to facilitate segregation during transport. The letters used range from A to S excluding the letters I, M, O, P, Q and R. The example above shows an explosive with a compatibility group "A" (shown as 1.1A). The actual letter shown would depend on the specific properties of the substance being transported.
For example, the Canadian Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations provides a description of compatibility groups.
