The reader accepts a wide variety of devices: lasers, CCDs, wands, slot readers and magnetic stripe readers. The reader will inteface with most any asynchronous RS-232 ASCII or PC emulation terminal. Your M2500 barcode reader will not become obsolete just because you change terminals or operating systems.
